Bill Toonen is the owner of Belize Tradewinds Paradise Villas in San Pedro Town on Ambergris Caye Belize. It is a condominium style resort on the edge of the village and is a very popular rental property for divers, fishermen and family groups. In 1980 he started Belize Tradewinds, which is a major wholesale travel agency for the country of Belize. Belize Tradewinds holds wholesale contracts with most of the major air carriers that fly into Belize. The Company has been doing door to door trips to all parts of Belize for people from all over the world for over twenty years. They are the Belize experts. Bill has been a certified diver since 1967, and has been diving in Belize for the last 20 years; he is also an avid fisherman.
Belize Tradewinds' Paradise Villas is one of the premier resorts in San Pedro, it was the first condominium resort constructed on Ambergris Caye. "Location, Location, Location". The Villas are located on the north edge of San Pedro, in a very quiet area only a few minutes walk to all the fun spots in town. This is where people go during the day or in the evening to shop, enjoy the many restaurants and attractions of the area. The Villas have central air conditioning, full kitchens, cable TV, ocean views, in ground swimming pool, and beautifully manicured grounds.
